Real estate billionaire Axel Stawski founded Stawski Partners in 1973. The company owns six office buildings and three condos in Manhattan. He sold a residential tower project in Queens' Long Island City for $200 million in March 2022. Stawski was born in post-war Germany to Jewish parents who both survived the Holocaust. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1971 to attend New York University.
