About Me

Carlos "Beto" Sicupira is a co-founder and partner in private equity firm 3G Capital, best known for its investments in Anheuser-Busch InBev and Restaurant Brands International, parent of Burger King and Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons. Sicupira's billionaire partners in 3G include fellow Brazilians Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Herrmann Telles and Alex Behring. Most of Carlos "Beto" Sicupira's wealth comes from his shares of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer, in which he owns about a 3% stake. 3G sold its stake in U.S. condiment maker Kraft-Heinz in 2024 after 11 years. In 2021, 3G acquired 75% of Dutch window shade company Hunter Douglas in a $7 billion transaction, and in 2025 paid almost $10 billion for U.S sneaker brand Skechers.
