Liang has served as CEO, president and chairman of the board at Supermicro since the company's founding; Liu is senior vice president. Headquartered in San Jose, California, Supermicro is a major supplier of Nvidia for AI server design outsourcing. Liang was born in the southern city of Chiayi, Taiwan.
