About Me

Ding Shijia is the deputy chairman of Anta Sports, one of China's largest homegrown sportswear brands. It sells under a range of brands such as Anta, Fila, Descente and Kolon Sport. In 2019 the company led a consortium to acquire Finnish group Amer Sports, with brands including Arc'teryx, Wilson and Salomon, at $5.2 billion. Amer Sports went public on the New York Stock Exchange in February 2024, raising $1.4 billion. Ding's younger brother Ding Shizhong, Anta's chairman, is also a billionaire.
