About Me
In early 1990s Dmitry Mazepin co-founded a bank, insurance company and petroleum trader. In 1999-2002 he worked as Deputy Chairman with the state Russian Federal Property Fund. In 2004 he bought the first fertilizer manufacturer at the privatization auction. Then he founded Uralchem Group and acquired several fertilizer producers in Russia. Uralchem is one of the world's largest producers and exporters of nitrogen, potash and complex fertilizers. From 2022 to 2024 Uralchem made several humanitarian shipments of fertilizers to Africa. Mazepin was sanctioned by EU and U.K. in March 2022. In 2024 elected as President of Aquatics Federation of Russia.
