Greg Brockman is cofounder and president of OpenAI. Brockman dropped out of Harvard and then MIT before joining Stripe in 2010, becoming its chief technology officer in 2013. He left Stripe in 2015 to create OpenAI alongside Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Ilya Sutskever, and has served as president since. Brockman testified during a lawsuit against OpenAI in May 2026 that he owns a stake in OpenAI worth more than $20 billion, estimated to be around 2.5% to 3% of the company. Brockman and his wife, Anna, gave a total $75 million to pro-Trump super PAC MAGA Inc. and an AI-policy super PAC Leading the Future in 2025.
