About Me

Igor Tulchinsky is founder and CEO of WorldQuant, a quantitative investment firm with $17 billion in assets under management. WorldQuant specializes in stastical arbitrage and other quantitative-driven trading techniques. Born in Belarus, Tulchinsky immigrated to the U.S. as a child and began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. He spent two years at Interactive Brokers before moving to Millennium, the hedge fund run by billionaire investor Izzy Englander. He founded WorldQuant in 2007 as a subadvisor of Millennium, and it still manages $7 billion on behalf of the larger hedge fund.
