Liu Yonghao is the chairman of New Hope Group, which has more than 100,000 employees and over 600 subsidiaries around the world. The group has interests in agribusiness, dairy, fast foods, real estate and chemicals. His daughter Liu Chang replaced him as chairman of the group's animal feed arm New Hope Liuhe, one of China's largest agribusiness firms, in 2013. In the U.S., New Hope owns stakes in Lansing Trade Group, a feed and raw materials trading company, and food processing outfit Ruprecht.
