About Me

Lu Weiding is the chairman and CEO of Wanxiang Group, a maker of auto parts with growing interests in clean energy and agriculture. His late father Lu Guanqiu (d. 2017) founded the predecessor of Wanxiang Group in 1969. Starting from a small blacksmith shop, Guanqiu eventually grew the company to become the first Chinese auto parts supplier that entered the U.S. market. Lu Weiding is also the chairman of China Wanxiang, a subsidiary in the insurance and fintech sectors.
