Manoj Upadhyay is chairman of Gurgaon-based solar energy company Acme Solar Holdings, which develops and operates solar, wind and solar-wind hybrid power projects across India. The company made a weak debut on the Indian bourses in November 2024, listing at a 13% discount to the issue price. He founded ACME in 2003 to offer energy management solutions for mobile phone towers and pivoted to solar in 2008. He is developing green energy projects in India, Oman and the U.S.
