About Me

Mark Hancock is the cofounder and executive vice chairman of Utah-based PACS Group, a publicly traded firm that operates skilled nursing facilities. He cofounded PACS Group with fellow billionaire Jason Murray in 2013 and the pair took the company public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2024. PACS Group started with two skilled nursing facilities and has since expanded to 315 facilities in 17 states in the U.S. Hancock and Murray each owned 50% of PACS Group before the IPO; Hancock now owns nearly 35% of the company's shares. Before starting PACS, Hancock worked as an analyst at Ford, as a director at a steel company and as treasurer of a financial services firm.
