About Me

Robert Pera is the founder and CEO of wireless equipment maker Ubiquiti Networks. Ubiquiti, which had revenue of $2.6 billion in fiscal 2025, sells wireless broadband systems with a focus on emerging markets. Pera owns 93% of the publicly traded firm. Pera started his career at Apple in 2003, and within 10 months on the job, founded Ubiquiti. He left Apple to work at Ubiquiti full time in 2005. Pera bought the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies in 2012, making him the youngest controlling owner in the league at the time.
