About Me

Thomas Kwok is the second-oldest son of Kwok Tak-seng, cofounder of Sun Hung Kai Properties, one of the largest developers in Hong Kong. He was cochairman from 2011 until 2014, when he was sentenced to five years in prison for bribery. He was released in 2019. In Thomas's absence his son Adam has served as an executive director for the company. Kwok and his two brothers, Raymond and Walter (d. 2018) inherited the publicly traded company after the death of their father in 1990. He was appointed senior director of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency, a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties, in 2020.
