About Me

Trey Parker and his creative partner Matt Stone debuted the foul-mouthed cartoon comedy "South Park" in 1997, writing, producing and voicing more than 300 episodes and counting. In 2007, Parker and Stone struck a deal with Comedy Central to split the then-non-existent digital revenues for their show 50-50 "in perpetuity," minting them a fortune as streaming revolutionized the TV landscape. They are also the co-creators of the hit musical "The Book of Mormon," which has been performed on Broadway more than 5,000 times since 2011 and toured around the world. In July 2025, the pair renewed their deal with Paramount Skydance to create new episodes of "South Park" and payout their half of the digital revenues for an estimated $250 million per year.
