Bob Ell is the founder and executive chairman of Leda Holdings, which owns three shopping malls in Queensland and a fourth in Canberra. He also has large-scale residential land developments in Queensland and New South Wales. He started out in Sydney commercial and industrial real estate in the 1970s. Ell briefly listed Leda Holdings before taking it private in 1990. He has developed more than $3 billion worth of property projects.
