About Me

Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja cofounded Emtek in 1983 as the exclusive Compaq computer distributor in Indonesia; he has a majority stake. Emtek currently controls three Indonesian TV channels, SCTV, Indosiar and O Channel. His son Alvin Sariaatmadja is president director of Emtek, which is formally called Elang Mahkota Teknologi. Emtek has collaborated with Alibaba's Ant Financial for Dana, a digital payment system in Indonesia. In 2021 Emtek partnered up with Indonesia's conglemerate Salim Group to expand its digital businesses.
