About Me

F.C. Tseng is a director of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., or TSMC. A longtime lieutenant of founder Morris Chang, Tseng joined the billionaire ranks in 2024 when TSMC shares soared amid the AI frenzy. The entrepreneur also holds positions including chairman of TSMC China and vice chairman of TSMC-backed Vanguard International Semiconductor. In TSMC's early days he helped Chang consolidate the company internally, while the latter focused on external market opportunities. TSMC is building a $165 billion site with three chip plants in Phoenix, Arizona. The first plant began production in 2024 and the other two for more advanced chips will come onstream by 2028 and 2030.
