Mario Germano Giuliani is a healthcare investor who owns an 8% stake in Royalty Pharma, the world's largest acquirer of pharmaceutical royalties. Royalty Pharma went public in 2020 and has collected revenue slices of blockbuster drugs like Humira, Imbruvica, Lyrica and Xtandi. Mario and his brother Giammaria also own stakes in Swiss investment company HBM Healthcare Investments and a number of biotech firms in the U.S. The brothers share ownership of their family's pharmaceutical company, Giuliani, founded by their great-grandfather Germano in Milan, Italy in 1889.
