About Me
Samuel Chen was an early investor in Zoom and served as its director until 2018. He made the investment after playing football with founder Eric Yuan in San Francisco. He also invested in a range of biotech and electronics companies in Taiwan through his Digital Mobile Venture and sits on the board of many. His majority-owned cancer drug research firm Polaris Group went public in Taiwan in 2022. Chen earned his initial wealth by trading ink.
